Direct School Admission-Secondary (DSA-Sec) Exercise
At Temasek Secondary School, we are guided by our motto, “We Care,” to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment that supports the holistic development of every student. All Primary 6 students are welcome to participate in the school’s DSA-Sec Exercise and successful applicants will join Temasek Secondary School Secondary 1 intake in January 2027.

DSA-Sec to Temasek Secondary School: Domains and Criteria
In line with the school’s focus on holistic development to nurture leaders
of Character and Intellect, we are looking for promising Primary 6 students
who demonstrate talent and interest in the following:

Successful applicants will be enrolled in Temasek Secondary School in
January 2027.
Students will be assessed on their ability in the talent and leadership areas so that they are well positioned to benefit from the curriculum offered at Temasek Secondary School.
Applicants who do not have prior experience may also apply. The school will assess applicants based on the selection criteria, which may include assessing the potential of the applicants.
Generally, students should possess:

Commitment to excellence in academic and co-curricular areas (including but not limited to co-curricular activities and community involvement)

Leadership potential with the commitment to serve the CCA, School and Community

*Parents and students are encouraged to choose schools wisely based on the student’s aptitudes and strengths, bearing in mind the schools’ academic and non-academic requirements, and the programmes available to develop the area of talent.

Only shortlisted applicants will be notified via email of the date and time to attend the audition/trial/selection test via email.
You will receive notification from the school by 7 August 2026, if your child has been shortlisted to undergo Direct School Admission (DSA) selection. All applicants will receive their application outcomes between 17 and 28 August 2026.
All applicants will be notified by email by 28 August 2026 if they have been given a confirmed offer OR if they have been unsuccessful.
Applicants who do not have prior experience may also apply. The school will assess applicants based on the selection criteria, which may include assessing the potential of the applicants.
Note: Meeting all the criteria does not guarantee the student will be shortlisted/be given an offer. The decision of the Selection Panel on the DSA-Sec application is final. The school reserves the right not to release the reasons for non-selection of applicants and/or the results of the trials/auditions/aptitude test and/or the interview.
Students who are successfully admitted to the school via DSA are expected to honour their commitment to the school, and participate in the training/activities related to the DSA talent they are selected for from year 1-4.
