HISTORY

The Temasek NCDCC unit was established in 2008 and it is a mixed unit of boys and girls. Its strength has steadily grown over the years. Currently, Temasek NCDCC is approximately 90 cadets strong and is guided by 3 Teacher Officers and 3 Cadet Lieutenants (CLTs).

MISSION

To develop and empower our youths to be active and concerned citizens advocating life-saving skills.

TRAINING

Training is held twice a week in school. Cadets learn life saving skills such as basic firefighting, first aid and CPR+AED. In addition, cadets are also trained in soft skills such as leadership, communication, relationship management and social awareness. 

OPPORTUNITIES

• Learning Journey to Taiwan in 2016 and to Hong Kong in 2017.

• Participate in overseas trips conducted by NCDCC HQ.

• Annual camps conducted at the Home Team Academy by NCDCC HQ (for Sec 3)

• Engage the community through the Emergency Preparedness Programme in which first aid skills are taught to the public.

• Participate in a route march (Sec 1 – 3 cadets) during the annual NCDCC camp, 

• Participate in the Cadet Leadership workshop conducted internally. Cadet Lieutenants (CLTs) from HQ are invited to give talks.
